iota was founded in 1987 by David Holliday, who handed over the editorship after the May 2002 issue to Bob Mee and Janet Murch, of Ragged Raven Press. From June 2008 (after publication of the next edition, iota 82) iota will be edited by a new team led by Nigel McLoughlin.
